We are a group of Tour Guides approved by Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India. We have a license to guide in any monument or temple or fort or palace anywhere in India. We have been trained by the Ministry to work as Freelance Tour Guides and Escorts. We are called the Incredible India Tourist Guides (IITG). The basic qualification to be an IITG is graduation although there are many post-graduates and doctorates amongst us. Also, there are many IITGs who are fluent in several foreign languages so as to guide international visitors in their own language.
We have started this venture so that, as end service-providers, we can connect directly with the visitors, thus eliminating a string of middlemen, and all their cuts. We invite you to explore regions in and around Bangalore in the Southern States of India. We offer you a wide range of options to experience the cultural heritage, architectural aura, bewitching landscapes, sublime sculptures, rolling hills, pristine beaches, curry culture, colourful markets, unadulterated laughter, etc., Of course this is along with many more undiscovered treasures of South India.
INCREDIBLE INDIA TOURIST GUIDES (IITG)
An IITG is one who is not only well-versed in understanding the pulse of international tourists but also someone who caters to the individual and collective needs of groups that he is accompanying. The uppermost objective of an IITG is to make the visitor experience India in such a way that safety, security and sensibilities of the visitor is preserved. An introduction to India does not end in visits to temples and monuments, but extends to understanding the local cuisine, local culture, local history, local costumes, local products & markets, etc., And our IITGs are well-equipped to educate you about all that and more.
An IITG has the license to guide anywhere in the country unlike many others who masquerade as guides but are stopped from guiding at all archaeological monuments controlled both State and Central Archaeological authorities. IITG licenses are issued by Ministry of Tourism which have to be renewed every five years. Some sample licenses are shown here.
